Suede needs a slightly different routine to smooth leather, but it's easy to keep looking sharp:
- Protect first: apply a suede protector spray before the first wear, and re-apply periodically, to guard against water and stains.
- Brush regularly with a suede brush to lift the nap and remove surface dirt.
- Marks: gently work out scuffs with a suede eraser or the rubber edge of a suede brush.
- Wet shoes: let them dry naturally away from direct heat, then brush to restore the texture.
- Avoid wearing suede in heavy rain where possible.
As with all our leathers, water damage and general wear aren't classed as manufacturing faults.
