Six-Month Quality Guarantee

If, within six months of purchase, your item develops a fault due to a manufacturing defect or failure in craftsmanship, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund—depending on the most appropriate and fair resolution. This applies to all products purchased directly from the Oswin Hyde website.

Each claim will be assessed individually and fairly to determine whether the issue falls under our warranty. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

What is Not Covered

Please note, the following are not considered manufacturing faults and are excluded from warranty coverage:

Customer Responsibilities

We ask customers to inspect all goods upon delivery and to report any visible issues within 48 hours of receipt. This allows us to address concerns promptly and thoroughly.

Unfortunately, it's not always possible for us to cancel the order. This is because the order has already been processed and is ready to be sent. For next-day services, orders must be placed before 4.00 pm (Mon-Fri). Weekend and public holiday orders ship the next working day.

Security & Liability
If no one is available and a parcel is left in a communal area or designated safe place and later reported missing, Oswin Hyde is unable to provide a refund or replacement. By selecting home delivery, customers accept this risk. For maximum security, please choose DPD Click & Collect.

1. Return and refund policy

Returning an unwanted item?

We hope you love what you've ordered, but if you're not 100% satisfied with any item, we've made our returns simple:

You can return your item within 28 days, including items purchased with promotional discounts. (Your 28 days start from the date on your receipt, or from the date when you received/collected any items you bought online).

To Return Items

Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order, and you then have another 14 days to return the items to us.

Log in to our returns portal to start your return. You’ll find the link returns portal.

• Items must be unworn and unwashed.
• Socks cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons.
• Underwear can only be returned if the seal on the box remains intact.
• Personalised items cannot be returned.
• Footwear will not be accepted where there are signs of wear inside the shoes, on the uppers or on the sole. Shoes returned with scratched soles or creased or damaged uppers will be refused for exchange or refund and will be offered for return to the customer, subject to payment of shipping fees. For these reasons, we suggest trying shoes on carpet only.
• An item that is deemed uncomfortable or an issue with size/fit after wear is unfortunately not classed as a fault and cannot be returned
• Items must have all tags attached, accessories included and original packaging.

You must obtain proof of postage just in case your order is lost on its way back to Oswin Hyde.

Please note that a £2.99 returns charge per parcel will be deducted from your refund amount.

Where we suspect fraudulent activity, including but not limited to circumstances where there are suspicious claims relating to orders having been placed, but not received, or if we suspect that you are returning items after they have been used or worn, or items returned do not match what you ordered, we reserve the right to withhold refunds and block your account (and any associated accounts) from placing orders in future. Please also note that the product will not be returned to you.

2. LATE RETURNS

If your items are returned to us outside of the 28-day period, we will hold them for 14 days for collection from our address. After 14 days have passed, the items will be disposed of. 

3. FAULTY GOODS

If you are returning faulty item(s), please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your items. You can start your return request on our returns portal, where you can submit the evidence of fault, and a member of our team will look into it.

Please don’t use any faulty items after finding the fault, or we may not be able to provide a refund.

4. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN?

Once you have posted your return, it typically takes up to 7 working days [excluding weekends and bank holidays] for your parcel to arrive back at our warehouse. When it reaches us, our team will inspect the item and begin processing your return, which usually happens on the same day but may take a little longer during busy periods.

If your parcel has not been delivered to us within 7 working days, we recommend checking your tracking information to confirm its status. Should the tracking show no movement or indicate a potential delay, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist and raise a claim with the delivery company if needed.

It is important to reach out promptly, because we are only able to submit claims within 14 days from the date you posted the item. Once this 14-day window has passed, we are unable to raise a claim or investigate the delay with the courier, and this may affect your refund/exchange.

On receiving your return, the next step is for us to check the item(s). Once our checks are complete, we’ll refund your credit/debit card. The funds should appear on your bank statement within 3-5 working days (how long depends on your card issuer).
If you paid for your order with a gift card, store credit or a voucher, a replacement to the value of the refund will be issued minus the cost of £2.99 for returning the item to us.

We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop and send you an email as soon as your parcel arrives back at our warehouse, and again when we have processed your refund.

5. CAN I HAVE AN EXCHANGE INSTEAD OF A REFUND?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to exchange an item, we offer a simple and flexible exchange process for UK orders.

• One-time Exchange: You can exchange your item once per order for a different size or another item of equal value.
  
• How to Exchange: Please use our returns portal to request your exchange.
  
• Postage Charges: If you need to exchange more than once, standard return and reshipment postage fees will apply.
  
• Returns Window: Please note that the 28-day return period begins from the delivery date of your original order. It does not reset with an exchange.
  
• Out-of-Stock Items: If the item you'd like in exchange is unavailable, we’ll contact you with alternative options. If none are suitable, we’ll issue a refund.
  
• Return Label Charges: If you used our return label and opt for a refund, a fee of £2.99 will be deducted from your refund total.
  

Exchanges are currently only available for UK-based orders.

If you want to add new payment details then you will need to do this at the checkout stage. 

Your new card details will be saved once your order has been placed. This means that next time around you can order your favourite Allsole products with ease. You can manage your saved payment cards by clicking into 'Payment Cards' under Account Settings in your account.

Once you place an order, the payment will show in your account as pending until we send the products to you. 

The pending transaction is telling you that the payment is authorised to be taken.
