What is full-grain crust leather?
Full-grain leather keeps the strongest, outermost layer of the hide, with its natural grain intact. "Crust" leather is tanned but left without a heavy surface coating, so it breathes, takes cream and polish well, and develops a patina over time. Lower grades, such as corrected-grain or "genuine leather", are sanded and coated with a printed finish.
Why cemented construction?
Our soles are attached by cementing, which keeps the shoes light and flexible from the first wear. We chose cemented construction partly because a full resole in the UK typically costs £60–70. Looking after the heels and soles early helps them last; see our leather shoe care guide.

Sizes and fit
Most styles come in whole UK sizes 7–12, with selected styles in UK 13 and 14. Standard width is F, and some styles come in a wide G fitting: see our wide fit shoes. Check our size guide before ordering.
