Shoe Width Guide

At Oswin Hyde:

Standard width is Medium (F) – 25 cm at the widest part of the foot.
For wider feet (Wide G, approx. 25.6 cm), we recommend sizing up or choosing styles marked WIDE FIT (labelled clearly after the style name).

How to Measure Your Feet

Place a blank sheet of paper flat on the floor, with one edge flush against a wall.
Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall.
Mark the tip of your longest toe with a pencil.
Measure the length from the wall to your mark.
Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement.

High-quality padded arch-support shoes

I can’t recommend these shoes. While they look great and are comfortable, the heel sole is extremely soft and constantly traps small stones from normal outdoor surfaces such as pavements and car parks.

The stones become jammed into the heel, making the shoes slippery and uncomfortable until removed by hand. In my case, this happened virtually every time I stepped outside.

Unfortunately, this also resulted in damage to a client’s tiled flooring on the very first day of wear due to a stone lodged in the heel. For a shoe marketed for smart/professional use, this was incredibly disappointing.

I contacted Oswin Hyde before leaving this review, however no remedy was offered and the issue was brushed off.

The attached images show the heel after just one day of wear — each hole had a trapped stone which had to be picked out by hand.

2 stars because they do look nice and are comfortable indoors, once the stones have been removed.
